When you are asked this question, do you think of your physical appearance? Do you think about what you do for a living? Do you think about what you do for fun and diversion?

These are all-natural ways we see ourselves, but do you ever think about how God sees you? Why He makes you and what your identity in Him may be? That He loves you and you are His child. That He can’t love you any more than He already does, no matter what you do or what you have done. Right now, some of you may be thinking, “How can God still love me after all that I have done and been through? Some of this by my own doing and some by others that I had no control over.” My answer to this is, He does. God is love. He only knows love. He can’t love you any more or any less than He already does. He created you in His image, for His pleasure. Why would He not want the best for you! 

Poetry is interpreted by the reader. What it tells you, may not be what it tells someone else. This is the beauty of it, talks to you right where you are at. 

The short narrative that follows each poem, tells about what was going on in my head at the time of the writing. I realize that not every poem is for everybody, but my hope is that one of these will capture your heart, right where you are, and give you a comfort that only God can give.
